Installing Half Round Fabric Duct with Fasttrack into Wingrail
- Attach parallel runs of Wingrail to ceiling using screw every 300-1000 mm depending on type of ceiling and size of fabric duct. Please note, the wing on the rail has a groove for lining up when drilling the holes needed in the rail. Important note: the distance between the rails must be the same as the nominal measure of the fabric duct, example: a D600 fabric duct must have rails fitted with distance 600 mm center edge to center edge.
- Sections of Wingrail is joined by sliding a Wingrail connector into the side groove of the rail, and then tightening the allen screws. When tightening the allen screws, the 2 rail setions will self-align.
- Slide fabric duct onto the Wingrail to fully extended position. If you have ordered our special Fasttrack feeder for Wingrail, this is inserted in the side groove of the rail, prior to sliding outlet onto track. This will greatly increase the speed with whcih a fabric duct can be mounted.
- Fix fabric duct to steel duct/Fan by means of clamp
- If "D-Luxe bottom" was ordered you will also have reveived a set of 2 "mini cleats", and the fabric duct will have 2 pull cords attached near the bottom end of the fabric duct. Also you will have received a flat aluminum strip with two spring steel clips attached.
